What Does "Born Again" Mean?

God did not send His Only Begotten Son into the world to repair sinners, but to create saints.  Man was originally made mentally awake and morally straight.  In the beginning God created a moral universe and everything was "very good".  But Man (Adam) sinned against the Lord and lost the spiritual perfection that He originally had, and the only way that he could have that spiritual life again was to be "born again".  That's the way God planned it and that's the way it is.

When Jesus says that people must be "born again" to see and enter the Kingdom of God, He mean't that they had to become a brand new person inside their soul.  The only way for that to happen is for God Himself to enter us by His Spirit and start a a new life within us by His very own presence.

  

This process is known as "salvation".  It begins with the confession of our sins to Him and our faith in Him as the only One who can make it happen.  Faith is believing what He says and acting on it in our hearts, not just in our heads, and that is something that we cannot do by ourselves.  We must have His help in order to hear and understand what He is saying, and to believe and act on it in our hearts.

So, it is imperative that you talk to Him (pray} and ask Him for His help in order to accomplish the whole process before it's too late.  Start by reading and studying the Bible, praying, and fellowshipping with others who have gone through the same process that you are now going through.  As You do yor best, He will do the rest.  Be blessed! - DLH
