In the beginning God created a moral universe, but man corrupted it by sinning against the Lord.  From that time to now, men have been destroying themselves and one another for selfish reasons.  So, in a single act of redemption, God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to inherit the earth and save mankind from destroying himself.  Jesus told His disciples to proclaim the “good news” to everyone on earth, and that those who would call on the Lord for salvation and eternal life would be saved.  To “call on the Lord” does not mean to pray once.  It means to make it a lifestyle to worship Him and depend on Him for direction always.  God has promised to judge the world in righteousness by His Son Jesus Christ, and remove the wicked from the earth, to allow the meek (Christ-followers) to inherit it.  All who call on Him continually, as a lifestyle, will have His gift of eternal life, now and forever.  ...That is the simple gospel of Christ.
