ABOUT US

New Life Counselors, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit Christian organization, was founded in Orlando, Florida in 1978 by David Leon Hunt and his wife Erma.  Our goal for this ministry is to help people know Almighty God, our Creator, and Jesus Christ His only begotten Son, who came in earth to give eternal life to all who will receive Him, and believe in Him.  Jesus said, "He that receives Me, receives Him (God) who sent Me".

During the years 1982  to 1985, the Hunts travelled in every state of America, except Alaska and Hawaii, sharing Christ with anyone interested in knowing Him.  They have ministered in many Traditional Churches and House Church Fellowships since 1977.

New Life Counselors, Inc. has now completed a Christian Discipleship Training Home in Orlando, Florida which is being used as a place where Christians can come and get to know the Lord intimately, and prepare to make Him known in this world.  The Bible says, "the world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God."  We are doing our best to help fill that need.  We are asking for friends to join us in prayer to our Heavenly Father to direct us daily in serving Him in this way.

         As you can see in the pictures, the Discipleship Training Home is finished.

​

Our Lord directed us to build this Discipleship Training Home, for training "sons of God" to "know Him and to make Him known" to others who need to know Him.  We believe the Lord also wants the home to be used as a model for "House Church Fellowships", where Christians can visit us and learn how to conduct house church meetings in their own neighborhoods.  See Acts Chapter 2 for an example.  Jesus said that wherever 2 or 3 Christians are gathered in His name, He is there with them.  We are His Church!
